Let the water cool before applying it to the affected area. The leaves can help dry out any pus and let the rashes die out. For better effect, repeat this procedure three times daily.
As a folliculitis remedy, vinegar is effective in treating and preventing further growth of rashes and lumps as well as in soothing itchiness. Mix four drops of vinegar in one cup of lukewarm water then soak a cotton ball into the solution. Dab the solution onto the affected skin area and leave it for 20 minutes before rinsing.
