Menu
Our menu is created in house by Mark Sumner, chef proprietor, and features fresh ingredients from the best suppliers, many of them local to the Cheshire area.
Dishes are cooked to order and while this takes a little time, we hope you will appreciate the difference!
The menu changes seasonally although firm favourites remain year after year. The blackboards host a variety of daily changing specials, especially fish delivered that day.
Cheese lovers are well catered for with a large selection of British cheeses, some of them from small dedicated dairies.
Our separate dessert menu features delights such as Sticky Toffee Pudding (recipe stolen from Windermere!), Fresh Fruit Pavlova and always a pudding with custard, also ice creams produced on the farm by Snugburys near Nantwich, Cheshire.
Our starters make good light lunch dishes and can be made larger for a main course.
Please see the blackboard for daily seasonal specials and fresh fish dishes. All of our fish supplies are delivered to us by C.G Neve of Fleetwood.
Main courses are served with either chipped potatoes, new or garlic mash unless already stated. Most dishes can be served plain if preferred.
